12oz heavyweight jeans doubled down with an inner abrasion resistance liner composed of Para-Aramid reinforced fiber, the same material notably used for body armor fabric and military applications.
Unlike most riding jeans, we wanted to equip our pants with superior impact protection. The protector pockets accept CE-rated Powertector® protectors in knees and hips (sold separately).

"Easily attracts pet hair but the most comfortable riding jeans and the only ones I ever wear I have 5 pairs and only one has ripped from a non fall in the crotch area. Most likely due to constant stretching from riding daily."

"After careful consideration, I ended up choosing the Featherbed-K style of Ugly Bros jeans in black. My preference was the black camo colorway, but for some unknown reason, Ugly Bros does not offer this with kevlar protection. (Fix this Ugly Bros!). The construction quality is what you’d hope for in a premium priced protective jean with comprehensive coverage. The slightly elastic jean material is dense, making these slightly warm in the summer, but allowing you to utilize them in the Spring and Early Fall. The ribbon stretch panels provide additional comfort and flexibility on the bike without being tight. One of the more savvy design decisions that the Bros made, but doesn't get enough airtime, is the knee inserts for the Level One pads are on the outside of the jeans. This allows you to take the knee pads out when you're sitting for longer periods of time off the bike. Smart. However. . . even though you're paying a premium price, the Level 1 pads are NOT included. These must be purchased separately. Worse, is that Ugly Bros do not offer Level 2 protection. Overall, the Featherbed-K Jeans are a win, but could be even better with some slight tweaks."
